Stable vs Creative vs Maximum vs Surprise
Choose the amount and direction of production.
Stable has a job
Stable is intentionally simple. It gives the person and message room to carry the video with restrained finishing. A mode should be judged against its brief, not against a decorative effect count. For a nuanced explanation, less intervention may be the right production decision.
Creative and Maximum
Creative adds more visible design and emphasis. Maximum aims for a substantially produced treatment with more intervention where the content supports it. That does not mean every possible effect belongs in the edit. Both remain reviewable: you can remove an individual graphic, sound or cutaway that does not serve the point.
Surprise is a direction
Surprise lets Finish choose an appropriate treatment. It remains subject to framing, readability and other safety rules. It is not a promise of a different invention every time or permission to obscure an active screen demonstration. Use the same source when comparing approaches so the recording itself does not confound the comparison.
Intensity and judgment
Approach sets a starting point; intensity and your brief refine it. Compare actual output, with sound, rather than a list of features. The Finish website uses real Alpha.7 exports of one controlled synthetic sample. They demonstrate behavior, not a guaranteed effect schedule for every recording.
